JMU SLP Summer Institute

This one-day, online event is designed for speech-language pathologists (SLP) who are looking for novel and effective approaches for helping children learn how to express and regulate feelings, understand the emotions of others, and promote academic and social success.
As schools return to in-person learning, this program will help SLPs immediately leverage their impact to improve learning and boost social, emotional, and communication abilities.
Beginner and advanced Kimochis tracks are offered. Attendees will receive new Kimochis Feeling Deck and Kimochis Life’s Protective 3 (Brave, Grateful, & Hopeful) shipped to their homes. The JMU Summer Institute registration deadline is May 7, 2021, or until the event is full.
