Leading the Way to Excellence in AT Services – A Leadership Study for School Administrators

This AT leadership study will be facilitated by members of the state Assistive Technology Network, along with Penny Reed, one of the authors of this book, and Cheryl Temple, Bill Reeder and Jeff Sisk, Virginia leaders in AT. This activity will take place over four sessions from January to April, 2022. Participants will be registered for all four sessions. This opportunity is designed for novices and experts in AT and will focus on how school administrators can positively impact outcomes for students with disabilities with assistive technology through their daily management, supervision, and leadership roles.

Target Audience: This AT Leadership Study is designed for leaders and decision-makers of assistive
technology services, including supervisors and individuals who provide management of AT personnel and
resources, school administrators (principals, assistant principals), division-wide administrators, AT Team
leaders, and others who assume these roles. Pending space availability, we encourage teams of two to
attend.
